I didn’t think that when I first moved to Tampa FL I would be walking dogs too make a living, but after having finally made the decision to move, I didn’t want to wait to line up a job or really even bother with looking for a new apartment. Honestly, this transition phase has been the time of my life! I feel freer now from responsibility and stress than I ever have at any point before in my life, and it’s something that has really made me think hard about the choices I have made up to this point and where I want to see myself go in the future.
I have recently come to realize that ultimately, the responsibility of how I lead my life and what I choose to do with my time is only managed by me and that I have the voice to simply say no more to those things that bring me pain or unhappiness and yes to things that bring me joy and contentment. It’s been a wild ride over the years to actually get here now and see with clearer eyes that everything I want to do is ahead of me, it’s only a matter of choosing what is right for me and how I want to navigate forward.
Frankly, I’m not in any big rush at the moment to figure it all out either. I see many of my friends and peers who are working their tails off in careers they’re not even sure is the right fit for them yet, and I expect many may end up regretting some of their choices since the time spent driving forward so hard could have been spent in other ways achieving happiness.
So reflecting on my time so far in Tampa FL, I realize this has been such a beautiful experience overall, and I am thankful to StayAvenida as well for their amazing luxury furnished housing in Tampa that I’ve so thoroughly enjoyed while being here. This accommodation makes me feel right at home and relaxed in my own oasis outside of the hustle that’s been so prominent in my life so far.
