I had an issue last year due to Covid complications and needed a short term furnished rental in Raleigh and Durham. I was trying to go back to my home country, but they closed borders and I was stranded.
I was on a vacation back in March 2020 and as soon as Covid cases were on the rise, my home country wouldn’t let me back in. This left me here in Raleigh/Durham, NC and I had to search for a short term furnished rental in Raleigh and Durham.

Since I worked for my countries government, I was able to speed up the process it takes to get a work visa. We pulled some strings and I was on a visa that allowed me to stay in the U.S legally without any complications.
I love Raleigh/Durham, NC and it has grown on me a lot. So much so, that I would like to stay if possible. I have even considered moving here if that is a possible option. I’ve had a great stay in my short term furnished rental in Raleigh and Durham.
