Owning your own Jiu Jitsu studio in Northern Kentucky takes a lot of hard work. But, in the end it’s all worth it. When I decided I was going to open up my own studio last year, I needed to find Corporate housing in Northern Kentucky.
It wasn’t just a matter of owning my own place that was the big hassle, but I needed to find an accommodation that was going to be suitable as well. I did a lot of research in the Northern Kentucky area to where I should open up a gym.
I decided that this smaller area near Valley View Furnished Condos would be a good place to start. Before I opened up the studio, I had to figure out the living situation.
I was able to find Corporate housing in Northern Kentucky for a very affordable price and I was excited to be moving. I never really moved when I was a child, so I didn’t’ know how much work this took. I decided I wanted an unfurnished place.
I wanted to decorate and put in all my own furniture from around the area. Even though Valley View Furnished Condos had options for fully furnished accommodations, which were really nice. I still decided to start with a clean slate!
I started by going to local shops and getting all new furniture that I had to move in by myself. I didn’t mind lifting a lot of the boxes. But when it came to the heavier stuff, I had to have a friend help me carry them up the stairs.
This one-bedroom studio was so close to where I was going to be opening up my Jiu Jitsu gym. I was very excited for all of the new pieces of my life coming together.
After a few weeks of officially getting the keys to my Corporate housing in Northern Kentucky, everything was ready to go and I was ready to move onto the business portion of this move in the city. I had a friend in the area that was able to hook me up with the studio space to install new mats and get this gym rolling.
In the first couple months of opening, my business was booming and I was doing very well. I can’t be more thankful for having a bunch of people support me along the way. It’s been an amazing experience living in corporate housing in Northern Kentucky and having a space place that I can call home.
